To See The World

To see a world in a grain of sand
                    heaven in a wild flower
hold infinity in the palm of your hand
                    and eternity in an hour

                    William Blake

We live in troublesome times, in a world that seems to envy and worship wealth and power, ignoring human life and human dignity.

Our news is filled with stories of greed, corruption, brutality and violence.

We hide our our vulnerability with nervous laughter as we eye the future.

Is there any way that we can make this a safer, kinder gentler world, not only for us but for our children?

I would hope that there is but only time.

Until then, I welcome you to my world of quiet serenity, a safe harbor and a refuge from the stormy seas of life.

To make the most of your visit, you will need to crack your hard sheel of indifference and tap into the illuminating light of empathy and develope a compassionate heart, love is the answer, it nurtures the soul.

Love is a medicine for the sickness of the world, a prescription often given, too rarely taken.

                          Karl Menninger

Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envey, it does not boast, it is not proud.

It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth, it always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres, love never fails.
